AGENDA- This is the agenda of what we are working on in class. I will include due dates if possible, but there is some flexibility based on students' needs. The agenda for each class will be online this year. If your child would like to use a paper agenda, please have them copy the topics and assignments into their paper agenda each weekend before the school week.
Homework- Your child will recieve a math packet the first school day each week and be given a lot time each day in class to work on the math packet. Anything not finished in class is homework. Most studnets will finish the packet in class. We will grade assigned math work at the beginning of each class period. Students should correct anything marked wrong by Friday. Your child will receive full credit if corrections are made, and this will help them prepare for the assessment. Corrections need to show strategies. Students will complete a mini assessment over the covered concept most Fridays. Work may have an "X" and a "check." This means that your child corrected their work after it was marked wrong the first time and has earned full credit.
Projects are due on Fridays. If your child needs extra time, your child may take it home over the weekend and turn it in before school on Monday morning with no penalty. Students are given about 20 minutes in class each day to work on projects. If your child has an IEP or 504, projects will be modified to meet your child's needs.
